Memorial Day weekend sale on my new kit

Hey everyone I know there is not much over in my Etsy store just yet, but I do have a sale on my kit it will be $1.50 until Monday night 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time. Thank you for the kind words and support from you guys.

This was a rather hard choice to make as I love creating the kits for you guys, but it costs me money to provide them for you. I figure in order to keep the downloads quick and available I have to keep up my membership which is a pretty penny. Now with that said I really need to get this of my chest and this is to one anonymous downloader that recently had some choice words for me on selling my kits.

I have never let an anonymous response ever bother me, I figure if they want to come by and say kind words awesome if they want to come by and say pretty darn rude things, they are having a bad day and I just happened to be their scape goat. However, I am a person, who eats, breaths, sleeps, and feels and when someone downright attacks me, I wont tolerate it.

Dear Anonymous you know who you are, the post from last night around 9pm EST.

I really think that if you feel my work is not good enough to purchase than do not come by and download it for free. I never asked you to buy my kits nor will I ask anyone. I will offer what I choose to put on sale it is my work. I will take your anger on not being able to get the full kit for free as you really like it and are upset because all I asked was for people to come by and check out my new blog. I would like to make my own money, as money is tight and I want to keep doing the things I do without taking from my families budget. If I cannot afford to keep up with the freebies there will be no more. I offer something free at no expense to you, but there is an expense to me anonymous. It takes one person to say my work looks like crap to really bring me down. I work hard on every single one of these kits, if you can produce better than do so, but in the meantime anonymous from last night you won, you got under my skin, but you lost my kits will be continuing to go on sale and small freebies will be offered. I can only hope that someone will like it enough to buy it. I think what really digs at me is that I cannot come at you fully because you are hiding behind that cloak of anonymity...

It is almost Friday

and I really wish I could clone myself about 3 more times. Some days nothing gets done at all, but then I have to remind myself that it is only me holding down the fort while my darling hubby is deployed. So it is a rat race this week and I am determined to get the rest of my house done. I have to achieve this by Saturday as I made a goal to have my parents over for breakfast Saturday morning. So here is to the first thing on my list: Your QP Freebies. There are two of them for you to enjoy. Then I am off to the living room, touring the dining room, breezing by the breakfast bar, tackling the kitchen. Hello Spring!

Well many of us here in my neighborhood have been busy revamping our yards and welcoming spring. Our household has been pretty swell, hubby is back to work and I miss the extra help around the house believe me. My oldest boy is with his father for 4 days finishing out his spring break and driving them crazy instead of me :). The Baby and I have had some great one on one time and in the quiet moments I get when I am not snoring there right along with him, I have created a wonderful kit inspired by this years spring and the color scheme I have been seeing. So take out those cameras and snap some pictures of spring and enjoy yourself! The kit comes with 15 fun papers, a bundle of elements, some WA and WA Stickers. Keep your eye out as I am working on a Template project question is what size templates would you prefer, I will make many sizes depending on the response. All of the shadowing in this kit is at 60 degrees so you know. But before I even begin to give you the kit, I have more pictures of my wonderful little one. New mom? Need some fun things to do? Pretend is my favorite, just this week we went to tour the Gardens in London, went on safari, went to the craft store to look at colors, mommy learned how to make baby clothes, and we had a concert from our favorite singers the Gregorian Monks :).

Welcoming Timothy Michael Layton!

Timothy Michael Layton was born Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 14:24. He weighed 6 lbs and 1 oz and was 18 and 3/4 inches tall. My water broke about 13:00 Saturday and the labor was slow and very drawn out. About 09:00 Sunday morning we got serious introducing the pitocin to bring on contractions and help my cervix dilate. We had an extended stay at the hospital because the bag of water had been broken for over 24 hours. The concerns are infections in the baby. My blood sugars also dived to very low proportions at the end. Timothy passed all of his tests with flying colors and is doing well at home with Mommy, Daddy, Big Brother, and our kitty boys. And without further ado here are some pictures of our darling little boy. I will be doing his first photo shoot tonight or tomorrow, just depends on if we stay awake or not! I have some adorable props for his session, then the hubby, big brother, and baby brother will have their photo session tomorrow. All photography done by myself and my hubby.

False Alarm and Some Freebies and working on links

So we spent Tuesday and Wednesday in labor, decent labor that brought me between 3 to 4 cm dialated. Then it all stopped. So no baby still, but I am going to give you guys the last two weeks, as the doctor thinks anytime now he will finish his journey to birth. I hope that the next bit treats you well, I will be on to share pictures and statistics of Timothy, I have some neat ideas brewing. I will miss my blog and creating designs, but I am more excited about my new joy coming into the world, hopefully soon.

So we still have not had Timothy yet. However, just when I thought I fixed my last computer, well it decided just to completely and utterly quit on me. In the middle of a move which cost money and having to furnish the baby's room. So, scrapbooking went on the back burner until I could get the money and buy a new desktop, which works wonderful and is better equipped to handle my line of work and designs. What's in Production?

As you all know who are regular's to my blog, the Layton family is counting down the last 9 and a half weeks to Baby Timothy. Well, I have been a busy designer in the past month and I have an outstanding gift for you guys coming up. It is a mega kit that will broken down by color and spread over 6 weeks. I am fine tuning the elements and this kit is like no other you have seen at BBDesigns, I am really bragging here because I am just in awe that I am designing it. Starting February 9th and every Wednesday to March 16th (one week before due date) I will have a new installment of the kit for you. Each kit will have 13 papers, elements, word art, templates, and alphas. For all of you that have or are going to have babies or grand babies, I present the color's for "Baby of Mine". This mega kit will celebrate the pregnancy, the birth, the growth and the relationships with these beautiful angels we are blessed to have in our lives. It will be my biggest work and has been the branch of where my designs will go from here. I have three weeks to finalize the production of this amazing kit, and then I will be trying to take a little break (But know I will be on showing you our beautiful edition) to enjoy my wonderful baby. What a great way to start the Morning!

I woke up checked my email like I normally do while the boy is in the shower and then checked my first favorite spot, oscraps, and....I was honored to have been one of the lucky winners for the cover for last weeks challenge! There were just so many great....I mean great covers and pages it was a surprise every time I got on to check the galleries! My cover won for most traditional and I get $10 dollars of goodness to spend in Sue Cummings store....hmmmm what shall I add to my inspiration folder....So I have a little grab I am working on for you guys inspired by some grommets I made for one of my pages, you will however have to wait for tomorrow as I am off to go spend TLC time with my mommy today. I do however have my pages from this weeks "52 Inspirations" kit which is turning out to look like a large book by the end of the year and I can't wait to put it on my coffee table and show everyone in my family!

Baby update!

I went to the specialist and had an anatomy scan on Timmy. He weighs about 3lbs and 8oz he is measuring one week ahead in the 30 percentile. His heart looks good and his kidneys are developing well. We will follow up in 3 weeks with another scan. He is on the other end of his brother who was born one week behind in the 30 percentile. He is definitely still a boy lol. I am very excited and my mom and I are planning a baby shower for February 20th. We hit 10 weeks (Minor Edit for those just joining: I will be 30 weeks with 10 to go) on Wednesday and in about 9 weeks my husband will get to come home and be there for his first baby's birth. We are very excited if you couldn't tell. One of the things I love about this blog, are the encouraging words you have shared with me along the way. It is one things to go it alone when your husband is away, and it takes a very strong person to do this whether is it your husband, son, wife, daughter; it is hard when they are gone. What I have found is a whole community across the world that has been uplifting the whole way. Thank you! Bran

What are your plans for photo projects this Year?

I have a variety of projects that I plan on doing this year. I tried project 365 got 4 months into it than bailed. I found that capturing moments from the week was easier seeing as some days I just didn't nab a photo. I have created some QP templates using January's Kit and have also enclosed a customizable psd format as well. Hope you enjoy and have a great week. Today we are off to see a specialist as little Timothy has a 2 cord vessel umbilical cord. The initial ultrasound seems fine, but we have to really get in there and look at possible problem areas to rule them out. Some affects from a 2 cord vessel are Trinomy 13 which affects the hands and feet causing them to be dis-formed or clenched, we have already ruled this out. Trinomy 18 which causes down syndrome, from what we saw his neck fold is forming normally as well as his face which does not show the tale tell signs. Now we focus on the kidney's and heart, which from the last scan are developing normally as well. To be cautious and follow procedure however, we have to go and do this. My oldest son developed fine and also had a 2 cord vessel.

How was your first work week of the Year?

As we approach the first full week of the year, what did you do? Did you stay busy with work and family, begin new ideas, inspired by your goals and new dreams. What what your beginning like? Our first week was busy, with appointments nearly everyday and gearing up to another weekend of packing while the boy is at his dads. I also began my new "52 Inspirations" Album which is over at Oscraps. This will be my second year participating and I am very excited.

We had a wonderful New Years Eve and Day. We went to my parents and spent time with them and watched the ball drop. The boy fell asleep 15 minutes before the ball dropped and we had to wake him up. We then spent the night there and woke up and went down to visit my grandparents for the day. It was an enjoyable day spent with loved ones, we worked on a puzzle and ate a great meal. I am glad however that the season is over, but the busy life does not stop there. Now it is finishing up packing, transfering power and cable, and being ready to move. We are very excited, but I am tired. I also have been feeling braxton hicks and well, what a way to wake up every morning. I do remember these from my son...I also remember the false labor...and without a doubt the distinctive real labor and contractions. Alright, enough about us and more about you!

New Blog Look and a Sneak Peek!

Hello Everyone!

     Now that Christmas is over and things are a little quiet, I figured I would play around with a new look for the blog. Right now my favorite smell is that of clean laundry and cotton. (Hence the clean crisp look) I am also designing the rooms in the new house and I am taking the minimalist approach with color. I will try and post the before and after pictures when we cross that bridge. After a year of designing for you all, I am honing in on my specific style and my creations should reflect that through out the year. I spent the past year playing with different scrapbook page designs and found I like pages that are clean and clutter free, maybe a few elements that make it pop.

     Onto the fun stuff...I have already created my new kit for January and I have a sneak peek for you to enjoy until I put it up. Last year my blog had around 18,500 page views, this is great! I remember for the first few months it was so quiet and I was so afraid that no one would ever find me, but you did and many of you have made my blog a stop along your way to freebie happiness. Your support, comments, and encouragement really keeps me going as a designer. We are looking forward to an exciting 2011, which is already full of busy things to do and wonderful ideas brimming on the surface of my imagination, I look forward to another year with all of you!

Well, looky there we are almost to the finish line. I love this time of year, but I am ready to pass out. It is has been a busy week finishing up the Christmas wrapping, packing, cleaning, doctor's appointments, and I caught my son's cold yeah! Well, I plan on sitting on my rear all day the 26th and hiding in front of my TV laying down on the couch. We had what should be our last ultra sound and got to view our precious bundle. Big brother got to see the baby too, how very excited he is to meet Timothy. We have a DVD with 9 minutes of baby goodness. I am making a copy and mailing it to my hubby. Well folks, it is late, I can't sleep and can't eat because I have a fasting blood draw later this morning, so I think I will try falling asleep again. Enjoy your gift!

For those of us getting ready to celebrate Christmas, How many of you are done? I have wrapping and a few more last minute small gifts to get. My next task is getting my home ready for family and friends. After Christmas, I will post some new things on various parts of my blog, such as cookie recipies and crafty things I made to get ready.
Today I sent off a box of goodies to my hubby and the rest of the guys including some cards and stamps for him to send out his own greetings. I threw in some pictures to keep him updated and well, almost called it a day. Here I am with a horrible connection tonight trying to get your gift up for you, lol. I guess our Florida internet doesn't know how to deal with the cold. Enjoy!

Great news!!! We got the house we were hoping to get. It is a 3 bedroom which gives the baby his own room. Even better it is two houses down from my parents!!! This is great considering my wonderful husband is on active duty right now and will only be home when the baby is born next year. So much to do!!!! The move is next month.
Want a melt your heart moment.... From my Hubby tonight: "If I could take the suns rays, ball them up and put them on a ring so you would have that sunshine whenever your skies got a little gray. I would" Oh the things he writes, I am making a book as we speak of all of the wonderful things we say while he is gone, then I am going to give it to him when he comes home next Christmas. He steals my heart everyday, I am so fortunate to have him in my life.

Well, today was successful, went shopping and have the food for Christmas dinner, yum yum. A Bragging BABY Moment!!!!!!!

Well, we found out that we are expecting a baby boy! Around March 23rd of next year we will be holding Timothy Michael Layton. Timothy is growing right on schedule and weighed about 14oz this morning! Almost a pound. The proud father to be is very excited and got to hear his baby boy's heartbeat for the first time. Watching a grown man look on with such adoration and tears welling is one of the most intimate moments in our lives. We look forward to many more of these cherished moments. So onto the theme: Blues, retro, robots, and spaceships! Have a wonderful day everyone and enjoy some pictures of Timothy.

     Hello all my wonderful and creative digi scrappers! It is halfway through October and well I actually have some time on my hands. This month has been busy at the boys school volunteering and getting fall programs and fundraisers finished counted and all things busy!
     I have however been busy late night when the baby wont let me sleep creating! What this means for you? Free stuff! This month I am doing things a bit differently. Fall is when I come alive after a year of being dormant lol. I love the smells, the food, and time spent with family. The colors however are my favorite inspiration! I LOVE fall colors!

We are out of the weeds! The tear has healed and I am 13 weeks with the most adorable little baby in the world. I was able to get pictures of the little one yesterday. So I have been a very um whats the word? Cave Dweller. I found out I was expecting, got married, watched my husband leave for duty, got the boy back into school. I also have stepped into my favorite position, being a home mom. Unfortunately, I decided that I would tear a nice part of the uterus at work before I left. It is out side which is great and I have been recovering for a couple weeks now. Baby is fine and we are nearing the end of the first Trimester. Unfortunately I could not get my mind to ease and I took a big break from everything. I have tried so hard for years to have another baby, so I have been sitting here holding my breath, I do not want to send another baby angel to heaven.

The good news! I started a paper pack before I left for my cave and I have that ready for you. I am feeling better about things and I am re-entering the world of digital scrap-booking and creating. The paper pack is called Lazy Mornings. I might make elements for it I am not sure, I really want to work on a kit for back to school. As this is is one of the focuses for our kids right now. Then Come on Fall! I have some great ideas for the Fall and winter holidays.

How is Your July?

     Our July has been rather busy and fun. Now we are focusing on the end of the summer, doctors appointments, registration, a new baby, getting married. I have been busy creating and relaxing and well just down right loosing my head. The newest kit is called Sweet Summer, it is a collection of beautiful papers, 26 of them to be exact. I am working on an add-on as we speak. I truly hope that you enjoy it.

     Oh, so you caught the new baby and getting married part. Well, we are expecting! Our attempts (to not try for a baby) worked. So we are getting married like we previously planned just a bit sooner, the man is off to serve our country, God bless him! SO I look forward to the end of this pregnancy as it marks me staying home to be with my children, I am very excited about this as well!

Good Day All,

Here is the next kit for the expecting kit, we are not currently expecting, which is ok. I have been sick for over 3 weeks which is not ok. I have spent more time sawing logs than I have counting sheep. Started with being hot, than a fever that cycled every few days. My lymph nodes than became swollen and I developed a severe pain in my lower right abdomen. Turned out to be a ruptured cyst. The fever continued for a few days, but than the going on 6 days today migraine began, with back pain. I will get better just have to wait it out I suppose.

Onto great fun things, here is the newest kit for you guys Expecting a Boy! I hope you enjoy our visit to soft and bold blue and green hues, with some fun playful elements. Do enjoy as Always!

Hello! Happy Beginning of Summer Holiday and Vacation!

It has been rather busy in my household. The man of my dreams moved in with me and we have been busy making plans for our future. We did spend sometime sick as a family, which was no fun at all. There were many events and many great times shared. I needed the break, I needed to reorganize, and just play for a while. I have three kits on the way for you! I am very inspired and there will be some add-ons in the future for these packs. The first one up for download is

Good Thursday! Which means there is only Friday and a lot of planning ahead! It is my parents 50th birthday celebration this Sunday and hosted by yours truly! My parents actually do not look like should even be celebrating their 50th, but hey, that is great for me, good genes!

I have created an add on for Sweet disposition, you guys really enjoyed it and the response was amazing! It really keeps us motivated when you guys love our work.

So, the guy, sigh...I think I really never loved before, honestly I do not think I have. I have never felt this way about another being in my life. It is not complicated and just flows like synergy. He is moving in next weekend! Then in September he will be heading off for pre-mobilization. Then he will be off to D.C. for about a year in December. Pout! I am so proud of him though.

The most exciting part, he met my parents and they loved him, I think they loved him, because this is the first time I really have ever gone gaga over a man. Then he asked for my dads number, we have been talking marriage. I will keep you posted there. Sometimes sitting back and just letting it flow really works, the hardest part is letting go It is that moment in which your so hesitant because it is out of your control. My son adore him, told him he loved him the other day, you should have seen this mans body and face melt with sheer joy...yeah, I am truly happy, indescribable happy, many of you will know what I mean.

So yeah, here is that add-on kit lol! There are word overlays, masks, flower and leaf cluster, some papers, Have Fun! Check back tomorrow for a nice QP while I finish up on the next kit...

Life in the fast lane...Super busy and not enough time for me and creations. Hopefully there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I have tons of ideas brimming in my mind, but not enough time to devote to them. I hope you all have been well. The walk went successful in total they raised $67,000 and I walked with the crisis intervention team. It was a beautiful day and the park was gorgeous and bustling, I really wish I had my camera with me.
So I have the first creation for the month, I call it Sweet disposition. It is a full kit with some great goodies for you.

Life is just wonderful! Things are really coming together. We live we learn, we get over things and then we run into the very thing we weren't looking for. I fully believe that the man upstairs knows what hes doing even when I do not. So, the door closed on my previous flame and that was probably the best thing. It made room for a man I fell for and like greatly over a year and a half ago He came back from overseas and stopped by to see me at work. I spent most of the time telling myself I was not ready for this kind of thing right now, and now this is where I am at. In love, making plans for the future, yeah, God sure knows what I need in my life and I have learned to never question his methods. It reminds me of a song I sing through the hard times, "Jesus Take the Wheel"-Carrie Underwood. Sometimes you just have to let go and let everything run its course. The boy absolutely adores him, I met his mom and she is great and makes an awesome burrito. Now he just has to meet my parents. This is the happiest I have been in years. I used to say whatever to my dad when he told me I had no clue about love. He always told me, I would know without a doubt, when I did. That man knows something! My co-workers noticed, glowing they say! My world is coming together and the future looks pretty awesome from where I am standing.

My Weekend Starts!

Hello Everyone!

    The boy child is feeling much better today. In fact he is superb. Today starts his final big break until the summer.
     I have the second pack of papers for :The Looking Glass: I am having fun with it. I hope you enjoy as always!
     The man, ok so I have barely uttered a word about a man. But there is one, unfortunately we have taken a few steps backwards, but I truly believe that it will be. This man, has made me so aware of myself, the good, the bad, and the truth (as ugly as the truth can be). This man made me realize in one moment how I really felt, it is indiscribable, amazing, and it hurts. When he walks in the room, its only him, he lights up my world and it has been so dim since we stepped backwards. I however wont let it stop me and I am optimistic that it will sort itself out. There is just something about that man, I have never felt, in my life, a description I thought I knew means nothing compared to the way I feel about him. So one day at a time, one talk at a time, one smile at a time.

The boy has strep, I have been awake since 2 am with a poor little boy who has been in tears because he's hot and his throat feels like it wants to come out. Took him down to the ER early and he was diagnosed and we were on our way, glad I know enough to figure out some things on my own. He is resting and staying home the rest of the week. Spring break starts Friday and he needs to get better so we can have fun.

I am very passionate about cancer, as I have faced my share of it, if you or anybody you know has a story to share or a page to celebrate that person I will post it to there or a link to there. We all need support and facing cancer as the patient and the family brings about its own unique challanges.

The boy is off to spend the whole day and night with his grandparents. They are off to Seaworld after a bit and he is so excited. That means me time, quite time and creative time. It has been a tough week work wise, but hopefully with my full crew we will conquer next week.

Good Early Morning!

What an extremely busy day! Managed to get a bunch done and another addition to Retro Watermelon. I hope everyone is doing well, we are nearing the weekend here and I am busy trying to wrap up jobs for clients. M next class starts tomorrow, my two week break is over, I only have 7 more to go until I get my Bachelors degree. Than I am off to get my MBA and specialization in Entrepreneurship.
My poor boy had a rough day at school today, one of those days where your heart breaks for them. He was wound up already and had an orange day, not so good, so by the time he reached extended day he was already upset. His best friend in the whole wide world, (they are inseparable) decided they were no longer friends. I show up to pick him up after work and he is clutching a picture and bawling (mind you five girls are consoling him). His little face is broken and his heart is on his sleeve. Sobbing he tells me of his friendship problems and how he drew a picture of his favorite times with his friend and his heart is broken. I tell him, maybe his friend is having a bad day too and we should wait to talk to him when he comes back from the potty. Needless to say, they are still friends, they both learned how important it is not to say mean things, (you can't take them back). My heart broke in a million pieces for him.

Good Morning Fellow Scrapbook Enthusiasts!

It is challenge time for March! As you all know I love creating for you and I love seeing what you have all made with my kits. It truly inspires me to create more. Last month Rebecca Lovell won the little contest I held. She got her own handwriting as a font for *FREE*! So here is the plan:

The Prize: Handwriting font for *FREE* to one lucky winner!

The objective: Create a page for me using any kit from my blog here at BBDesigns.

Thoughts: Spring is on the way for many of us and with spring, the drastic changes in the environment begin. Little buds of green are appearing and the cycle is really beginning, soon there will be new baby animals, and our children and grandchildren will be looking forward to a school holiday. When you think of spring, what captivates you the most? What does change mean to you? When you look at young ones are you reminded of your childhood notions and fantasies? Maybe you are reminded of your spiritual beliefs? It is refreshing and a chance to start over. Spring is my new year, it is my beginning, in the early parts of spring I can smell the earth, it is so pungent, wet, invigorating, it means change is coming and a rebirth is about to begin on our planet. Watching the insects begin to emerge and animals come back out. It is a special time of hope and peace of a new kind. My son begins his wonderment over our garden and how things change, and his pure joy at watching the flowers bud and come to life again from plants he thought dead is priceless.

The Deadline: March 31st at 12 pm EST is the deadline, with a winner to be randomly selected shortly after.

Good Morning Everyone! I am so excited! I have the elements for :Be Inspired: I had such a wonderful time with my friends in St. Augustine. I was truly inspired by so many things out there, I took nearly 1,000 photos and now need to go through them, lol! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Good Evening Everyone it is almost Friday!

It is almost Friday and I am very excited. I am headed up to St. Augustine (In Florida) with my camera in tow. I will be there early and leave late. I am also giving my good friend from work a tour of the area as she has never been before. I am feeling better today, thank you for all of your kind words.
mscraps news: March challenges are up at mscraps and I am thrilled as always to play with all of the fabulous kits by the designers there. I did my first LO which is all about me, this months challenge is change. I used a fabulous kit by Jenn Barrette "Fly Free" to express how and what made me change.
Here is a look.

Rebecca Lovell's Hand

Rebecca was our recent winner of the first challenge at BBDesigns and she won an extra add-on of her choice. I gave her the option to choose five favorite things as elements and papers, or she could have her very own handwriting as a font for free. On a slightly serious note: I have been very sick as you all have read, and I am facing another bout of cancer, the only problem is we have to find all of it. Missed work today because I had a bad reaction to medication and an ulcer. I will do my best to keep up, this actually is my sanctuary, where I can forget about things for a while and keep myself together. It is my place I turn to when all the things in my mind keep me awake.

Welcome to March! I hope everyone has a great one! I have a little freebie for you, while you wait for my new kit. I am inspired and very excited to make it perfect for you.

The boy: How was your day at work mommy?
Mommy: Well, it was good, but a customer threw a horrible temper tantrum.
The boy: Why did they do that?
Mommy: Because he made a mistake on his print and printed a bunch of papers with it, which cost him money.
The boy: Well, that is silly, did you put him in time-out?
Mommy: No because he is an adult and not my little boy, and he was mad at me because he was upset at himself.
The boy: Mommy, I am going to have to go to your work and tell those grown-ups that they are not allowed to have tantrums, I am the only one that has the right to do that!
Mommy: (Laughing on the inside...hysterically!) Thank you for sticking up for mommy my wonderful boy!
The boy: I love you mommy!

I love the idea for the new kit. I love anything to do with butterflies, and I think that would fit into this kit. :) For a palette, I love the Swallowtail Butterfly, so here are it's colors, with a green thrown in.

I am really looking forward to the new kit, I have been busy perfecting and over analysing, I am really starting to find my style. Practice makes perfect and you all have been wonderful. In the past 16 days I have had over 1400 visits and over 3,330 page views. It has been a whirlwind experience and It makes a person feel super proud! So a sneak peek! Like I said I am forever growing as a designer and learning new things. I was making some beaded jewelry the other day and thought to myself, "Bran, scan those beads in and see what you can do with them" It will be included in the New kit, take a look.

We have made it to Wednesday! Woo Hoo! Which means another freebie! I have created some metal elements to go with the "Sweet Spring" kit. I also have some hand written word art in there for you too! It is pretty quite in this realm and I will be working on a new part of the kit, frames, a template, and maybe some QP. As much as I love spring, I am ready to begin new color schemes and ideas from my dream box.

Sweet Spring Element Pack No1

It is late in the evening, but I have managed to get the first element pack for "Sweet Spring" finished for you. I did finish my statistics paper and will be a happy person if I never have to take another statistics class in my life. The boy lost his third tooth tonight, he was so excited! So was I that it went better than the last tooth. (He is getting brave) Been keeping pretty busy and hope to have another installment tomorrow. The colors are Yellow and blue, there will be papers to coordinate in the next few days. Have a great night!

Welcome to the Last week in February

Well it is the last week of February already and time just keeps going by faster. I have a statistics report to finish and turn in tonight and I am not looking forward to it. I detest statistics and this would be the first class I have had in years that is not an A or B. ugh oh well. Note (do not take math online without hiring a tutor). Despite all of that I have some lovely papers for my "Sweet Spring" Kit. I hope you all enjoy!

New Paper Pack

After being bound to my house sick for the past week, I am ready to g back to work and I am not. A little stir crazy for being in more than usual, but a great opportunity to expand on my imagination! The weekend has been rather pleasant so far and I get the boy this evening. I usually start missing him by morning on Sunday (I miss him the moment he leaves...who am I kidding). I have a fireman friend who is on board for a photo shoot and bringing the boy to his station to see the trucks and try on gear and have a good time with it. I can't wait for the photo opportunity! (and to see men in uniform) lucky me!!!!
As I promised here is another collection of papers from my "Sweet Spring" kit. I love the feedback and can't wait to see the creativity come in. I have the ladies in my family who want a chance too.

Hello Everyone!

I am embarking on a fun project, which is great news for you. Today I have download No 1 in my new series called "Sweet Spring" This kit will incorporate the whimsical and sweet romance that is spring. The flowers will start waking, blossoms will start.
